School Valentines

Each year at Valentine’s there is the big decision: To buy the Power Rangers and Barbie cards, or to make something a little more creative and personal. I bet you can’t guess which camp I am in! In fact, today’s big project is assembling the Valentines, but I’m not going to show them to you…yet.

Here are a few last minute ideas for you:

These are the Valentine’s my daughter and I made last year.

I wrote about them here. They were a bit more work than I wanted with a 1st grader, but if you like this idea, you might want to do this, instead:
Cindy @ Skip to My Lou, made a free download. That should make it easier, and children can still get involved with cutting and assembling.

This year I really wanted to channel Becky Higgins, or these cool Valentines from Yellow Pear Photography, so I did, sort of, but I, of course, managed to make them a bit more complicated. Come back tomorrow for the big reveal! I’d love to see what you did for school valentines this year!

Love the heart/flower lollipop valentines you did last year! I saw something similar on Martha and wanted to do them for the Valentine’s party I hosted…but didn’t get to it! Maybe for my little one’s lollipop party coming up! Nice to meet you! Thanks for visiting my blog, as well!
