We had kind of an early Valentine’s celebration with the kids this weekend. My sister-in-law brought over everything to make sugar cookies with the kids and we turned it into a crafty party. We needed food, so I decided to try heart-shaped pizzas. It was pretty easy since I used the ready made dough from Fresh and Easy. Papa John’s has nothing on us! I like how this one looks like a polka-dotted heart.
Valentines Fun

What a cute idea for the pizzas!! We are making pizza Friday night and guess what shape it will be! 🙂
we’ve done those wax paper hearts before…and you are right! They look so lovely with the light coming through. Love the pizzas, by the way!
My goodness you have been a busy little bee. Every thing looks so great and yummy. What fun you all had together…

Whoa! These are seriously fabulous. Especially love the red pepper hearts.
By the way, you might be interested in a super give-away contest running this week (and every week) on my LDS blog at Not Entirely British
This time, the prize is a copy of Dr. Wally Goddard’s latest book, “Soft-Spoken Parenting.” From what I’ve heard, it is excellent.
lovelove the pizza! I plan on doing that with my son on Saturday!
the red bell pepper slices have to be one of the greatest innovations in heart-shaped pizza technology to date.
Did you just cut the heart shape into the ready made dough?
I did have ready made dough, but it had to be rolled out. I just rolled it and pressed it into the shape of a heart. No cutting involved.
