Sneak Peek–Wedding Weekend

I have lots of ideas for the New Year, and how I want to get organized, and some blog events I’d like to announce, but right now, I am exhausted, and will still need a few days to recover from the wedding this weekend!

My husband’s sister got married Saturday evening, and not only were there lots of events to attend and participate in, but they were all pretty much DIY functions. I did all of the flowers, and was in charge of the hot cocoa bar, plus my husband and I sang during the ceremony and had to walk down the aisle (did I mention my husband was wearing a kilt?), as well as our children, and had to help with set-up and clean up and all of those details during the reception.
Ok! That is way more than I intended to write about the wedding at this point, because besides being exhausted, I was much to busy to take pictures and only have a very few to share with you. I’m planning a much longer post with all of the fun details, once I can get access to more photos (please?).

I will say that I think all of our hard work paid off. It was a beautiful and memorable wedding, and everyone seemed to have a great time.

I’m just not ready to be back in the swing of things. *sigh*
(Ignore the snowflake cups in this pic. This was during the prep at my house, not the wedding.)
More when I wake up from my wedding fog…
Happy 2010!
