What a difference a year makes!

In just a little more than a week’s time, my oldest turned 10 and my youngest turned 1. I think I’m in a little bit of denial. How is it possible that I have a 10 year old? And how come my baby is starting to look like a little boy?
Of course, I have grand schemes in mind for a birthday celebration for him, but the calendar has not been our friend, lately. He won’t know if we celebrate his 1st birthday when he is 13 mos old, will he?
In the meantime, he’s had to settle for some extra squeezes and a few “Happy Birthday” serenades. I sure do love this guy! His bright eyes and smile light up any room. And even though he is getting big and busy, he still knows how to snuggle and give sweet loves. He’s got great rhythm and does a mean shaky rockin’ dance! He loves everyone he meets!
I had to mark this milestone in someway! Thanks for indulging me!

I’ve been saying that so much lately! I seem to make comparisons at each special event. For example, last Easter T couldn’t even sit up on her own for very long…now she’s running!
