By Request: "She’s About to Pop!" Invitation Downloads

I know in some parts of the country, it seems ludicrous that we are back in school, but today was the big day! I’m thinking maybe they do it this way in Phoenix, because it is too hot to do much of anything else right now. We get long Fall and Spring breaks, because it is feasible…
My oldest son (2nd child) is turning 6 on Sunday! I was going to throw the big robot birthday for him on Monday, but too many of the potential party guests are leaving town for the weekend, so I have postponed the party for a couple of weeks. This is probably very providential, because I…
I had a request for ideas for a hunting-themed birthday party, so I will share what I have come up with. First of all, I have to tell you that in my searching, I learned something new. Did you realize that hunting and camo are popular themes for weddings? I kid you not. I know…
What could be better than pink ruffles, pajamas, nail polish, goodies, good friends, and a great cause all in one night? Not Much! I hosted a Sleep Pink Party this week in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Although breast cancer is a serious matter, raising awareness and funding for cancer research doesn’t have to…
We took apples to the teachers today (we really did–more on that soon). Tomorrow means Dr.’s appointments and haircuts. We are trying to check everything off of our list for Monday when the kids head back to school. I have been worried about getting ready for school and forgot that many moms are anxiously awaiting…
I was fortunate enough to be asked to host an Elmer’s “Craft and Tell” party this month. They sent me a box loaded to gills with all kinds of crafting tools and goodies! My instructions were to CRAFT and then TELL you about it. (Well there were a few more instructions than that, but you get the…

I Love The Way You Did The Flower With The Words Going Around, How Exactly Did You Do That Because I Am Really Interested In Doing It For My Own Baby Shower !
Designing the flowers the way I did with the text going around, can be kind of tricky. You have to have the right kind of software (like photoshop) that uses layers and then you’d create a text path around the shape of the flower. It would be difficult to tell you exactly how to do it, since I don’t know what software you have and it took me a bit of trial and error to get it right.
You might just google “creating a text path” and the name of the software you use. Also, I think it may have helped that the flower was a vector image I was able to “draw” and attach text to. It’s honestly been so long and I have different software now. Not sure I could do a tutorial on it.
Good luck!
you can use picnik
I love this theme! My shower is 2 mths. away so I have lots of time to focus on it! Thanks for the invitation templates. I’m trying to get to the ‘soda pop’ labels, but the site is not cooperating 🙁 Thanks so much for sharing!
Thanks for the idea, I was wondering how you mailed these? They don’t look like they will fit in a regular envelope. Or did you pass them out by hand?
I think they hand delivered most of them. If you are putting them around the tootsie pop that would be easiest, or I think you could fold the petals up and put them in a small mailing tube.
I LOVE THIS IDEA! I would love to do this for the two showers I am planning. I don’t see how I can download your cute flower.
Can you help me? Or is this part of your awesome secret to keep? 😉
Hi Lisa!
No Secret. To download, right click on the image you want and click “save as.” Save the file to your computer and pull it up in some kind of graphics or word processing program to print. They are just in a picture format at this time, but should work fine.
I hope both of your showers are big hits!
