Halloween Reprise

Ok. I know I said I was done with Halloween and I’m pretty sure you all are, too. But I have just a few more pics to share. I was able to get pictures of the kids in their costumes in the daylight, Monday before they went Trick-or-Treating.
I also wanted to show you the cute pumpkins we carved. We combined carving and painting this year for a fun effect.
I helped my son with the design of his pirate pumpkin. My daughter went for making a sassy witch (she never got around to the hat).
I think my 4 year old said that her pumpkin design is me. I’m not sure whether to be flattered or frightened.
I started the painting idea with this haunted house pumpkin inspired by one I saw on Pinterest from Parents Magazine. And here they are lit up for the hoards of trick-or-treaters that came by our house.
Ok. No more Halloween for this year!
But I am taking nominations for next year’s costumes so feel free to leave yours in the comments. Right now my 4 year old is campaigning for a Blues Clues theme. So we’ve got to come up with something better than that! 🙂
Next up…lots and lots of Thanksgiving!
