Keeping Track with Clipix

I have just learned about a new way to keep track of your ideas online. I’m all about finding ways to organize the creative insanity!

I’ve created a couple of boards on clipix to try it out. It’s quite fun to use! The thing I really like about clipix is that you can determine the privacy level (and change it) of each board you create. For example, if you are gathering ideas for a surprise party, but you don’t want to ruin the surprise, you can keep the board private. You can add collaborators, too, if they are in on the secret. After the party is over, you might want to share all of your inspiration with the world. You can unlock the board and then it is available for public consumption.

I decided to search for Mother’s Day gift ideas. I have left my board open for now, because neither of my mothers is often on-line, but I this is the kind of board I would want to keep private to be safe.

When you clip something a general description is automatically entered. You can add/edit/write your own, description.

I decided to bookmark this bracelet from etsy. It will save the price for me. But if I’m thinking of DIYing something similar, I could make notes on the side, so later I can easily remember what I was thinking when it comes time to decide what I’m going to do.

Come sign-up and connect with me on clipix! What kinds of things do you think clipix could help you keep track of? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Thank you for this! I haven’t been able to create a Pinterest account because I do not have Facebook. Clipix allowed me to create an account with my e-mail address. I do not want an obsession, but this will certainly make storing things easier for this homeschooling mom.
