I can’t get back to blogging as usual without stopping to tell you a little about my experiences at SNAP! Conference this weekend. But trying to capture all of the emotion, friendship, learning, insight, beauty and excitement of the weekend feels like more than a gargantuan task. I’m afraid it is quite impossible.

I think I need to start with a huge thank you to Tauni for allowing me to be a part of the SNAP! team and giving me the opportunity to learn from these amazing ladies! I truly have so much admiration and respect for each of them! Their talent is astounding, but also is their compassion, professionalism, dedication, etc. I have learned so much just through getting to interact with them in preparation for SNAP!!
I knew that when Tauni, decided to move forward with creating this conference that she would ensure that it was a first-rate experience for everyone who attended! And boy, did she ever! I’m not sure any of us know how much time, energy, heart, and soul Tauni put into this event, but it makes me so happy to see all of the new friendships made and inspiration gained, that would not have been possible with out this conference, and I hope she is seeing all the fruit of her labors, too!
It was also a huge honor to get to speak on a panel with Sara {Confetti Sunshine} and Michelle {Maddycakes Muse} about party planning on a budget (a.k.a. Cheapskates Unite! :-)). It was moderated by one of my fav party people ever, Brittany {One Charming Party}. If you are interested, I will share some of my slides from that presentation in a future post! {That’s Michelle, my stuff, and Sara, above. I must have been up doing something. photo by Katie @ Sweet Rose Studio}.
I’d also like to share some of the inspirational take-aways or “aha” moments, I had, as well as some of the amazing people I met. I didn’t take nearly as many pictures as I normally do so I’m going to have to steal borrow a few more from the Flickr group when I write up those posts. But for now, I’m just going to leave you with a sampling of photos I took that will give you a feel for what an amazing weekend this was!
I wish I could share every little detail with you! If you see something you want to know more about, let me know!
Thank you to everyone who made this such an unforgettable weekend! It was such an honor to be there with all of you and feel of your creative energy and enthusiasm!

Love the recap, especially the shot of the band-aids on your toes.
Just keeping it real, Emily! Sure missed you on the dance floor!
For some reason that Scentsy one is really speaking to me. It’s really pretty. And the one of the schedule framed. I kind of fell in love with those, and have no pics of them. Thanks for all your hard work K. And for letting me call you K. Pretty much exclusively. 🙂
Thanks! I LOVED the frames, Lara! I wish we could have hung a bunch of them behind the candy bar and they looked SO classy for the schedules! I have another shot that isn’t as close-up if you want it.
Thanks for all of YOUR hard work!! I wish I could have been there to help more! And you can pretty much call me whatever you want, since I adore you so!
p.s. my blog thinks you are spam. And that is so sad, since I love your comments!
I took a few of you teaching the party class and I have a group shot that is serious and not silly that your face is better seen. Email me and I’ll send ’em to ya! It was fun to chat with you a little, you did a great job sharing about parties in your class. I LOVE parties myself and got some fun ideas.
Thank you so much, Kristen!! I will definitely use those in my future posts (whenever they may be). 🙂
Love you Kendra! So glad to be able to get to know you better while working on this with you and the Snapettes!
You, too, Amy! I admire you so much! So nice to be in the same place for a little while!
Kendra, thank you so very much for all of your support over the last year. Though I had a terrible time delegating (mostly because I was always out of time and working at 2 a.m.) I felt the love and support and they sustained me.
Thank you for being a part of this event!
xoxo
Tauni
Thank you, Tauni, for giving me this great opportunity! It is always exciting to be part of something that is top-rate, and I knew that with you at the helm, this was destined to be amazing! And it was!
Kendra, It was great to meet you at SNAP. I loved hearing your party ideas during that class. Your pictures here are great. I hope you don’t mind I used your vase photo on my SNAP post. You were fabulous helping behind the scenes during the conference.
Sure, Victoria! Thanks for coming to my party class (did I assign you to be there? :-)) And especially for not walking out when it was time for lunch. 🙂 So fun to meet you, too!
Kendra I wish we could have talked more!!! SNAP was awesome and so much fun. Thanks for all your hard work!!!
Tam, while we may not have had a chance to talk, I did witness that back handspring/cartwheel/whatever it was at the dance party, and could not be more impressed! So glad you had a good time!! Thanks for stopping by my blog!
Hello Darling Kendra, I just love meeting you at SNAP. You were so fun to talk to. I’m still bummed that I didn’t get to hear your presentation. ANYWHO, thanks for being such an inspiration.
Warmly, Michelle
