“This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Sharpie, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #StaplesBTS http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV”
My kids like to give their teachers the coolest products they can think of on the first day of school. I like to think of it less as kissing up and more as starting off the year on the right foot. It is best if it can be useful and clever!
I love bright and beautiful school supplies! These beautiful Sharpie markers and highlighters are on sale at Staples right now, while supplies last. So I grabbed a few and came up with a SHARP idea for a teachers gift.
You know how I love themes, right? So after grabbing the Sharpie markers and highlighters, I stocked up on other “sharp” school supplies at Staples.
Like a pencil SHARPener, SHARPENED pencils, SHARP pins and SHARP scissors (not pictured).
And decided to make a “sharp” -themed gift basket for the teacher.
A soda carrier makes a great container for the gift. I used white duct tape to cover up the labels and reinforce the box.
And designed the printable label.
“Looking forwards to Sharpening my skills this year with my SHARP new teacher.”
I arranged the sharp supplies in each of the compartments of the container. Here is a quick tip: For the smaller objects, tuck a colorful napkin or tissue paper in the bottom of the compartment, to prop up the objects a bit so they can be more visible.
You can use the Sharpies to write the teacher’s name on the box! And there you have a gift that you know any teacher will appreciate and use!

Have you done all of your back to school shopping yet?
FUN! What a great teacher gift. Thanks for the idea. Double Thumbs up
Would love to receive this gift myself!
