Back to School Haircuts–GIVEAWAY!

Today’s giveaway is all about summer fun! A while back the folks at Panama Jack sent me a fun package full of their sunscreen and sun care products. We have enjoyed using them this summer and so far haven’t even had to use the aftersun lotion, so it must be working! Panama Jack has generously…
(NOTE: Lengthy post…Scroll to bottom for GIVEAWAY info!) This blog isn’t a review/giveaway blog per se, but I am all about sharing creative ideas and tools to help you in your own creative insanity. And I’ve had a lot of friends approach me for help in getting started with digital scrapbooking and/or blogging. AND I…
It’s almost time to wrap up the Silhouette giveaway. But before I do, I wanted to show you what I learned about the tattoo paper they sent me. I’m trying to get ready for an invasion of 3 year old fairies and gnomes this week. I decided to try some tattoos to add to the…
Knowing I have a house full of crazy, creative kids, blogging friend, MaryLea from Pink & Green Mama, sent me a copy of her Ocean Fun Art Camp e-book to try out with them. We chose the ocean in the bottle craft to try out, since I had all of the supplies on-hand, and it…
UPDATE: Are you here for the party? It’s going on HERE! It was January 15th one year ago, when I clicked the “publish post” button on this post about my husband paintball birthday, and thus began sharing my insanity with the world. My blogoversary is just a few days a way, and since I’m not…
I got a package last week that has really helped cure the summer boredom blues for my family… I was sent this ROKU so that we could access the BYUtv channel and all of the existing episodes of Studio C! “What is Studio C?” you may ask. I actually had no idea until about a…

What am I doing to get ready? Well, since school already started, I'm just trying to keep sane with the homework load they're bringing home! So… to help me help them, I have set up a station at the end of a table where the kids are to put their homework when they are done, along with any and all papers I need to sign or see. I separated their spaces with the ever-useful painter's tape, since my junior high kid has so much work in so many notebooks that putting it in the hanging slotted basket is now a thing of the past. This way, with just a glance, I can know who is done with their work, and who has yet to complete it. 🙂
…and, of course, I already "like" you on facebook! 🙂
I bought a new bookshelf, hit the homeschool convention and filled up the new bookshelf, and now we are just about ready for "back to school". Haircuts are still on the list though, and I have 3 itchy boys…
And I already "like" you, on facebook and everywhere else!
OK Miss Kendra…I am teaching my kiddos at home this year but since they are preschool age I am not sure it counts. I have been busy researching and collecting ideas on themes and Montessori ideas that I want to implement. As soon as I get my new school shelves I will be doing some major organizing.
I do believe that I like you on FB.
we are homeschooling, so getting ready is organizing our shelves. =) Exciting…
We love Cool Cuts! I am getting ready for back to school by getting my classroom set up! I teach fourth grade and my 10 year old is a trooper of a helper (in a school that only turns on the air two mornings per week before school starts, and we're on day 31 of 100+ temps!). I'd love to get her all styled up before we start back!
I liked you on FB, too! I love your blog so glad to see the updates there!
There's nothing like a new haircut for back to school! Great giveaway!!

I like you on Facebook! Congrats on getting to 1000 'likers'!
School has already started, but I got ready by trying to spend some extra time snuggling and hugging my kids knowing I would be missing them soon! And I just liked you on fb! My son's hair definitely needs help!
We are having our new Kindergartener practice making his lunch (he starts on Monday). We're also starting to put the kids to bed earlier (starting tomorrow). Time to get back into the routine!

Back to school? Well, I am whining a little and trying to pretend it's not coming. Does that count as "getting ready"? 🙂 I am not ready for summer to be over just yet. Sweet giveaway, though! pswhetten@gmail.com
We are getting ready by getting to bed at the right time and getting back into our schedule. I

Pick me! Pick me! You know we've been doing school for a while. To get ready I spend lots of time planning curriculum, buying supplies, and praying 🙂
I'm pretty sure I already like your Facebook page but I'll go doublecheck.
I like that you've got a handful of other homeschoolers reading your blog 🙂
