The following is a guest post by Shannon from My Baby Clothes Boutique. I actually threw a tea party like this a few years back for my daughter and her friends. I even dressed up as “Mrs. Manners” and gave an etiquette lesson. It could be a great boredom buster during summer vacation. Read on…
I’ve been on a bit of a glow-in-the-dark kick lately. It started with my son’s Laser Tag Birthday (which will be up on the blog very soon), and transitions nicely into Halloween! I was already scheming up some glow in the dark ideas for our trunk for this year’s Trunk or Treat when I was given…
I am totally excited to be here on My Insanity! I had the pleasure of meeting Kendra at Creative Estates and she is all sorts of fun! Hi, I’m Michelle from… I love to share creative projects that can be done on a time and money budget. I also host a weekly DIY Under $5…
While we are doing some of the tie cuteness I posted about here, for my husband for Father’s Day, what he really wanted was a golf lesson. His lesson was this morning, so I can go ahead and blog about how I presented his gift to him, and share some other dad/guy ideas. I probably…
I had a moment of bloggy brilliance last Easter, inspired by the butterfly-tattooed Easter eggs from a previous year, and my love of adding a little gold bling to everything these days whenever possible. I figured that if other temporary tattoos would stick to colored eggs, then the metallic tattoos I had picked up at…

Such cute ideas! I make a ribbon tie on all my Father's Day gifts!
Those pancakes are so cute! Not sure that I'd have that much ability to handle the batter, but they are darling!
Whitney, I hope you'll show us how you do it!
Linds or Lyds,
It's really not that hard. I blogged about it earlier (there is a link in the guest post). You just use a squeeze bottle and "draw" the outline first with batter. Then you fill it in and it makes a design. My kids LOVE it when we do this! My oldest even likes to try making her pictures on the griddle too.
hooray for you! I was at a loss for this father's day and you've saved me! xoxo Kira…ps I tried very hard to channel you when doing my son's birthday last week…I kept thinking "how would Kendra do it?"…
Wow, Kira! Thanks! That's a tremendous compliment coming from you! Your parties are always fantastic! I loved the dragon in the pool…I mean, lava! 🙂
Great ideas, Kendra! Love the tie penant!
cute cute! Had to stop by and let you know I used your photo idea (from last year). Thanks for the inspiration!
