We are in the throes of assembling our latest collection of themed family costumes this week. I will not reveal them just yet but will give a few clues. As many of you know, we have a long-standing tradition of dressing up together as a family for Halloween. It is a bit of work, but…
So, in the blogging world, is it fashionable to come late to a party, or is it rude? Because I am doing it every time! But you know I hate to miss a good party, so I dash over for a little bit, anyway! Today (it’s today for 20 more minutes!), Southern Hospitality is hosting…
Happy Friday! I hope you have fun plans for the weekend! Haven’t you ever wished that there were a few more of you to meet all of the different demands on your time. Well today, I’ve sort of been virtually cloned. There is the good mommy me that is hanging out at Tatertots and Jello,…
My son had kindergarten graduation tonight, and will have his last day of school on Wed. My daughter is at a different school and still has a couple of weeks left, but I think a lot of you may be getting ready to welcome the kids home for the summer, soon. They would love a…
I remember how naive I was when expecting my first baby. I didn’t know what I was in for, and that may be better. As a chef and a mother, one of my favorite services to offer is that of making freezer meals for expecting and new mothers. I don’t know how anyone else’s has…
Happy Monday, everyone! I’ve missed you. I escaped the Phoenix heat and haboobs for 3 glorious weeks in beautiful Utah, where I spent a lot of time with family and friends, and was able to attend the amazing evo conference along with some other spectacular creative bloggers (more on this later in the week, hopefully)….

Such cute ideas! I make a ribbon tie on all my Father's Day gifts!
Those pancakes are so cute! Not sure that I'd have that much ability to handle the batter, but they are darling!
Whitney, I hope you'll show us how you do it!
Linds or Lyds,
It's really not that hard. I blogged about it earlier (there is a link in the guest post). You just use a squeeze bottle and "draw" the outline first with batter. Then you fill it in and it makes a design. My kids LOVE it when we do this! My oldest even likes to try making her pictures on the griddle too.
hooray for you! I was at a loss for this father's day and you've saved me! xoxo Kira…ps I tried very hard to channel you when doing my son's birthday last week…I kept thinking "how would Kendra do it?"…
Wow, Kira! Thanks! That's a tremendous compliment coming from you! Your parties are always fantastic! I loved the dragon in the pool…I mean, lava! 🙂
Great ideas, Kendra! Love the tie penant!
cute cute! Had to stop by and let you know I used your photo idea (from last year). Thanks for the inspiration!
