Back to School Haircuts–GIVEAWAY!

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Citrus Lane. If you are like me you have a few (or a lot) of gifts left to check off your list. Don’t worry! I’m still sharing lots of great ideas over the next week or two! Here is a unique idea that can…
Aren’t these the most amazing Easter eggs you have ever seen? The are literally “tie-dyed” with silk ties (or scarves). Do you think my husband would notice if a couple of ties went missing? I should note that there was some discussion in the comments section about whether it is OK to eat eggs dyed…
I am happy to announce the winner of the terrific Hair-Bow-quet giveaway! Remember Heather from Lulu and Junebug guest posted for me, and did this cute tutorial. Well the lucky winner of her demonstration “bow-quet” is #27: Lana said… I love, love, love it!!! Wish I had an imagination that you two ladies have!!! Congrats…
I thought it would be nice to kick off this Baby Time countdown with a kid/baby giveaway! Realizing that I have my own crew of testers, the folks at Tanner’s Tasty Paste were kind enough to send me several samples of their line of very tasty kid’s toothpaste to try out. The short story is…
Do you ever struggle with buying gifts for the men in your life? I do. I think it is because if there is something they really want, they usually go and buy it. And if your husband is anything like mine, they can be super-particular about the specifications of their gear, making it likely that…
Me and Meredith, that is! (Post edit: Â I just realized the grammar police are going to lock me away for this one! Â “Mean Meredith.” Â No, she’s really nice, I promise. Â Ok. Â “Meredith and I are the winners.” Â Is that better?) Meredith won my Purple Trail Giveaway that ended last night. Â And Meredith is one lucky…

What am I doing to get ready? Well, since school already started, I'm just trying to keep sane with the homework load they're bringing home! So… to help me help them, I have set up a station at the end of a table where the kids are to put their homework when they are done, along with any and all papers I need to sign or see. I separated their spaces with the ever-useful painter's tape, since my junior high kid has so much work in so many notebooks that putting it in the hanging slotted basket is now a thing of the past. This way, with just a glance, I can know who is done with their work, and who has yet to complete it. 🙂
…and, of course, I already "like" you on facebook! 🙂
I bought a new bookshelf, hit the homeschool convention and filled up the new bookshelf, and now we are just about ready for "back to school". Haircuts are still on the list though, and I have 3 itchy boys…
And I already "like" you, on facebook and everywhere else!
OK Miss Kendra…I am teaching my kiddos at home this year but since they are preschool age I am not sure it counts. I have been busy researching and collecting ideas on themes and Montessori ideas that I want to implement. As soon as I get my new school shelves I will be doing some major organizing.
I do believe that I like you on FB.
we are homeschooling, so getting ready is organizing our shelves. =) Exciting…
We love Cool Cuts! I am getting ready for back to school by getting my classroom set up! I teach fourth grade and my 10 year old is a trooper of a helper (in a school that only turns on the air two mornings per week before school starts, and we're on day 31 of 100+ temps!). I'd love to get her all styled up before we start back!
I liked you on FB, too! I love your blog so glad to see the updates there!
There's nothing like a new haircut for back to school! Great giveaway!!

I like you on Facebook! Congrats on getting to 1000 'likers'!
School has already started, but I got ready by trying to spend some extra time snuggling and hugging my kids knowing I would be missing them soon! And I just liked you on fb! My son's hair definitely needs help!
We are having our new Kindergartener practice making his lunch (he starts on Monday). We're also starting to put the kids to bed earlier (starting tomorrow). Time to get back into the routine!

I follow you on facebook! You ARE really close to 1000! Congrats!
Back to school? Well, I am whining a little and trying to pretend it's not coming. Does that count as "getting ready"? 🙂 I am not ready for summer to be over just yet. Sweet giveaway, though! pswhetten@gmail.com
We are getting ready by getting to bed at the right time and getting back into our schedule. I

I liked you on Facebook! #998!!
Pick me! Pick me! You know we've been doing school for a while. To get ready I spend lots of time planning curriculum, buying supplies, and praying 🙂
I'm pretty sure I already like your Facebook page but I'll go doublecheck.
I like that you've got a handful of other homeschoolers reading your blog 🙂
