By Request: "She’s About to Pop!" Invitation Downloads

With Disney’s new Cinderella movie on DVD, and pumpkins popping up in markets everywhere, I couldn’t wait any longer to show you the over-the-top birthday party I threw for my daughter last fall inspired by that fairy tale. It may very well be the most over-the-top birthday party I have thrown to date. I told…
Are we all Halloween-ed out, yet? I hope not, ’cause I still have some stuff to share. First off… I won! Remember this invitation? Well, it won the prize for “most boo-tiful design” over at Living Locurto’s Halloween Party. Check it out to see lots of other great ideas! And it may be a little…
UPDATE: I have posted the printables from this party on my Fan Freebie page! My friend, Heidi, is a former caterer and a kindred crazy spirit, so when she asked if I wanted to help her host a Valentines party for some of our friends. Knowing how I love a good Valentine’s date night, I…
UPDATE: Are you here for the party? It’s going on HERE! It was January 15th one year ago, when I clicked the “publish post” button on this post about my husband paintball birthday, and thus began sharing my insanity with the world. My blogoversary is just a few days a way, and since I’m not…
I KNOW most of you weren’t reading my blog back in February when I first posted about this fantastic “SOUPer Bowl” my friend threw last year for gourmet group. So I think I would be doing you a terrible disservice, if I didn’t share it with you again! Go here to read all about it!…
I’ve designed a few versions of a cupcake 1st birthday party invitation made with a coffee filter as a 3D liner. I love adding something unexpected to an invitation! This is the original invitation I made for my daughter’s birthday 3 years ago (see credits here). And now I’ve created a printable version (for sale…

I Love The Way You Did The Flower With The Words Going Around, How Exactly Did You Do That Because I Am Really Interested In Doing It For My Own Baby Shower !
Designing the flowers the way I did with the text going around, can be kind of tricky. You have to have the right kind of software (like photoshop) that uses layers and then you’d create a text path around the shape of the flower. It would be difficult to tell you exactly how to do it, since I don’t know what software you have and it took me a bit of trial and error to get it right.
You might just google “creating a text path” and the name of the software you use. Also, I think it may have helped that the flower was a vector image I was able to “draw” and attach text to. It’s honestly been so long and I have different software now. Not sure I could do a tutorial on it.
Good luck!
you can use picnik
I love this theme! My shower is 2 mths. away so I have lots of time to focus on it! Thanks for the invitation templates. I’m trying to get to the ‘soda pop’ labels, but the site is not cooperating 🙁 Thanks so much for sharing!
Thanks for the idea, I was wondering how you mailed these? They don’t look like they will fit in a regular envelope. Or did you pass them out by hand?
I think they hand delivered most of them. If you are putting them around the tootsie pop that would be easiest, or I think you could fold the petals up and put them in a small mailing tube.
I LOVE THIS IDEA! I would love to do this for the two showers I am planning. I don’t see how I can download your cute flower.
Can you help me? Or is this part of your awesome secret to keep? 😉
Hi Lisa!
No Secret. To download, right click on the image you want and click “save as.” Save the file to your computer and pull it up in some kind of graphics or word processing program to print. They are just in a picture format at this time, but should work fine.
I hope both of your showers are big hits!
