Alright. How much do you think I paid for this chandelier?

Thank you to Cottonelle for encouraging me to Respect The Roll by sending me these awesome roll covers and Cottonelle Clean Care product and sponsoring my creativity. You can enter to win roll covers yourself by visiting Cottonelle’s Facebook page! ******** One topic I never expected to write about on this blog: Toilet Paper. But…
For months I’ve been teasing you with sneak peeks, like this one, of the Space-themed room I have been designing for my son. I had been planning and dreaming about it since before we moved in nearly 2 years ago. And I am happy to announce that it is FINALLY FINISHED…….sort of. The big stuff…
This Mother’s Day I want to recognize a mom who’s blog has really had an impact on me personally. I guarantee I’m not the only one who feels this way, and I’m sure she doesn’t need any more publicity, but I want to continue to promote the ideals that she does on her blog…that motherhood…
I have a couple of gaping holes on either side of my mantle that present some decorating challenges. Anything I put there ends up looking cluttery, unless it is the right scale. I spent some time looking at ordering some smaller Christmas trees. I thought something like this fancy feather tree from Z Gallery would be…
Guest post by Kendra’s sister, Trina, who isn’t only insanely creative, but also extremely cheap–that runs in our family, too! 🙂 I feel unqualified to talk about home décor because I don’t do too much of it, and what I do do is more often dictated most by how inexpensively it can be done. So,…
I love the inspiration I get from all of you when I ask for a little advice on my blog. In response to my plea request for furniture refinishing advice, one reader, Jenny, emailed me this gorgeous picture of her banister. She used a tinted polyurethane product I didn’t know existed and made the whole…

I Kendra,
I am visiting via The Nester. This is my first time on your blog and it has been a fun one. I like the chandelier you found you can tell it is definitely nice quality. I think once you replace the shades the tear drop bottom will be proportioned better, but I agree it looks fine as it is. Drop by my blog anytime it is always nice to meet new friends. ~Cathy~
love that fat tear drop! it’s the best part!
Great finds. The fan for your boys room turned out fabulous. And you are right about fans. I live in southern California & I can't afford to run the air 24/7 in the summer, so we have ceiling fans in almost all of our rooms. I would love a chandy more, but staying cool at night wins out over being stylish. And I have found some super duper deals at Lowes too.
Wow, you got some amazing steals! I love your new light, and I like the tear drop, it makes it unique.
Great deals! I am with you on the ceiling fans. I love them! If I ever did Trading Spaces that would be the first thing I put back in the room.
Oh I LOVE that chandelier! Colour and all! You lucky gal you!
Donna
Thanks for joining in the party! (Oh, and what a cute button that is. 😉 )
That ceiling fan is awesome, perfect for a space themed room. I love the chandy too, you found some great deals!
Wow! You really know where to shop for lighting, Girl!
The ceiling fan looks great! Also, that chandelier is a beauty!
Ceiling fans are a must here in Florida as well. Now you’ve got me circling the house with a can of spray paint wondering what I can do to the fans in each room…….
Oh spray paint… my heart doth love thee.
Love the new chandelier…and I LOVE ceiling fans…being from Tx and the South..a must! What do designers know anyway? ;D
Instead of a false ceiling, get some glow in the dark paint and sponge stars on the ceiling OR you can stencil them OR find some glow in the dark ones. I found the glow in the dark paint at the chemical section at our local dump! Can’t wait to see it.
Congratulations! You won the giveaway from Chris at Just a Girl! You are one lucky lady!
Enjoy…Sharon
Congratulations, winner!
So fun winning stuff!
Come on over to my blog and let me know if you would rather a Welcome sign or address numbers!
