Cool School Valentines
You can read all about what we did here. And as crazy as it was, I think I made a memory with my daughter, staying up late to assemble these. She is developing her own insanity, for sure!

I nearly titled this post, “Something Fishy is Going On”, but I didn’t want to give the wrong impression. When we decided to spend Christmas in Utah, the one thing my husband was really excited about was fishing. Yes, in the cold. Yes, in the snow! Yes, he clearly has less sanity than I have,…
Here are the remainder of the fun ideas we used for my son’s Stellar Space-Themed/Rocket birthday party. The day before the party, I took my son to Denny’s for his birthday breakfast, and to buy 10 of these cool rocket cups. After searching around on-line, I knew these would make the best favors, and the…
This post initially appeared last year as a guest post on Tip Junkie. I’m happy to share it with you here this year! You’ve got plenty of time to make a banner before February gets here! Â Young children have a hard time understanding time. My 3 year old has a hard time understanding why everyone…
I’ve had a little break from birthday parties, but there are a couple right around the corner now. Before my son celebrates his 3rd birthday, it might be a good idea to blog his 2nd birthday. It hit at a really busy time last year and I just didn’t get a chance to get the…
As I am starting to get ready for my son’s big astronaut party, I thought it would be fun to share some of what we did last year for his 3rd b-day…A construction/truck party. Going completely against my nature, I bought invitations this time. This was only because the invitation was the exact concept I…
I love cute birthday cakes–they can really become the focal point of a party, so I have a couple more I’ve been wanting to share. This first one was made by Laura at Brilliant Blossoms (she’s pretty crazy about a lot of different things, like me!) for our cousins, Kaj and Kade and their awesome…

Cute ideas! I like the photo one. Would make good favours also.
I love the photo/lollipop one and the maze. Super cute!
The one you are doing this year is so cool! Love it! I think it would be great if everyone made their own Valentines. How fun would that be to get them?
To be honest though, I don't think I've seen any homemade ones except in blog land.
I think we need to all go to some far away place and start our own town. Where everything is beautiful and homemade and vintage and full of fun.
Hugs,
Joanne

Happy Valentine's Day in advance!
I lOVE these first one, omg, I am totally doing that! Thanks for the great ideas!
These are all adorable. So much better than the store bought ones. Don't give in!

Hello everyone! Who knows where to upload the film Avatar?
I even bought the film Avatar for a SMS to http://rsskino.ru/kinofilm/avatar.html , the link was, but download fails, the system will boot quite strange cocoa something.
Men, advise where to normal as quickly download film avatar?
I know, homemade Valentine's are so cute! Next week I'm posting about the ones we're doing for school; one set looks like an iPod and I've been waiting from last year to do them.
What's sadder is when the store-bought ones go on sale, I buy them, swearing not to kill myself making them the next year. And yet, here I go again.
I just love that photo one of that your friend did that is so cool and clever. The kid's valentines from last year are super sweet too, in all my years of teaching I never had anyone pass out ones with their pictures on it. I love them!
Thanks for the link!!!
Love the top idea too!
love the photo kisses! its so funny because my oldest wants me to make the ipod valentines too!
OH love this idea, I must try it!! Thank you for posting. Do we know the finalists for the parties yet?
love love LOVE love the first one in the valentines day set. I think I might have to try this one, and give to the 7yr old 🙂
