Cool School Valentines
You can read all about what we did here. And as crazy as it was, I think I made a memory with my daughter, staying up late to assemble these. She is developing her own insanity, for sure!

I’m a little late coming to the party, but at least I’m here, right? Chris over at Just a Girl (which is a fabulous creative blog, btw) is having a party where we share all of our wonderful ideas for homemade gifts this holiday season. I haven’t had time to do much partying yet, but…
So it’s time to wrap up the report on the Nancy Drew party. On Friday night, each girl put together their own “sleuthing kit.” Â I found little cosmetic bags at the Dollar Spot at Target. Â I had planned to iron on their initials as a monogram before hand, but didn’t have enough letter A’s for…
In fact, it is taking over my life! I was getting in a pretty good blogging groove, but between two trips and MOVING(!) houses, there’s not a lot of time to even log-on, these days. I’ve got tons of stuff I want to post, but in the meantime, I will leave you with one of…
Happy Birthday Mr. President… If you are looking for something to do with your kiddos off of school this President’s Day, maybe you could help them make some presidential puppets! My first grader (with ideas from me and lots of help from BSB) made this puppet as part of a book report for school. This…
It’s back to school around here on Monday, so you will see several posts related to that in the next little bit. Today I’m talking about Back to School shopping, and the crazy way I turned inexpensive notebooks into customized works of art for my kiddos! Â Every year I’m a bit overwhelmed by the…
I know, from comments I received, and emails asking for advice, that several of you were planning an adventure date similar to our “Amazing Race: Valentine’s Edition“, that I blogged about here. I am dying to know how all of the dates turned out, and what creative spin you all put on them. So here…

Cute ideas! I like the photo one. Would make good favours also.
I love the photo/lollipop one and the maze. Super cute!
The one you are doing this year is so cool! Love it! I think it would be great if everyone made their own Valentines. How fun would that be to get them?
To be honest though, I don't think I've seen any homemade ones except in blog land.
I think we need to all go to some far away place and start our own town. Where everything is beautiful and homemade and vintage and full of fun.
Hugs,
Joanne

Happy Valentine's Day in advance!
I lOVE these first one, omg, I am totally doing that! Thanks for the great ideas!
These are all adorable. So much better than the store bought ones. Don't give in!

Hello everyone! Who knows where to upload the film Avatar?
I even bought the film Avatar for a SMS to http://rsskino.ru/kinofilm/avatar.html , the link was, but download fails, the system will boot quite strange cocoa something.
Men, advise where to normal as quickly download film avatar?
I know, homemade Valentine's are so cute! Next week I'm posting about the ones we're doing for school; one set looks like an iPod and I've been waiting from last year to do them.
What's sadder is when the store-bought ones go on sale, I buy them, swearing not to kill myself making them the next year. And yet, here I go again.
I just love that photo one of that your friend did that is so cool and clever. The kid's valentines from last year are super sweet too, in all my years of teaching I never had anyone pass out ones with their pictures on it. I love them!
Thanks for the link!!!
Love the top idea too!
love the photo kisses! its so funny because my oldest wants me to make the ipod valentines too!
OH love this idea, I must try it!! Thank you for posting. Do we know the finalists for the parties yet?
