SNAP! Conference Updates

snap conference
I posted about a lot of this news on my Facebook page, but I want to make sure all of my readers know the latest about SNAP! Conference and don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to learn from and associate with the best creative bloggers there are.

LOCATION:

The gorgeous Thanksgiving Point has been secured as the venue for SNAP Conference in April of 2012! And it will be in the middle of the tulip festival! Talk about photo ops! For more information on the venue, check out the post on the SNAP! blog!

HOTEL:
The SpringHill Suites is the official hotel for the conference and discounted room rates are available. More info on the blog, but it would be wise to book early since space is limited.
If you are looking for a roommate, SNAP! has set-up a Facebook page where conference attendees can connect and figure it out. Go here to join the conversation.

SPEAKERS:
For a little while longer, you can fill out this Call for Speakers form if you are interested in speaking at the conference or if you have suggestions for topics.

QUEEN BEE MARKET:
I’m SO excited that the Queen Bee Market will be on-site during the conference. I have been dying to witness the gorgeous displays and handmade goodness that I hear about each time the market is held! If you are a vendor of handmade goods, you are going to want to apply to be part of this market!

*****

I still need to blog about the amazing time I had a EVO Conf last summer. I am even more excited about SNAP! because creative bloggers are the most fun! And SNAP! will be full of them. 🙂 If you don’t believe me, ask who were the last ones on the dance floor at EVO. 🙂 But in addition to the amazing people who are coming, I am really excited about the content we are developing for this conferencel–exciting and hands-on workshops in event planning, home DIY, contemporary crafts, and handmade businesses.

I hope to see you there! You can buy your tickets, here!

I am happy to report that the pirate party was a success, despite an uncharacteristically strong rainstorm, that hindered some of the party preparations. Lunchbox favors from Trenton’s Truck birthday 4 years ago. Do you struggle with packing a nutritious lunch for your kids that they will actually eat? • Nie-Nie Day

Design Mom has declared today (Thursday, Aug. 28) Nie-Nie Day. There are more than 100 silent auctions going on at various blogs, with all proceeds going directly to the Nielson Recovery Fund. The auctions look amazing! In a preliminary search, I have seen a custom oil painting, guitar signed by Maroon 5, and helmet/football signed…
