I’m an ocean in a bottle, baby! Summertime Craft for kids!
Have I told you that I grew up in a family with eight children? I am number 6, and as you might imagine with a family that large, finances were extremely limited. Our Christmases while I was a child were largely handmade. We all wanted to give presents to each sibling and our parents, so…
Welcome! Are you ready for some good clean fun! We’ve been working hard this month and now it’s time to party! OK, so it may not be as much fun as my Party Party, but I’ve got music! And a fantastic prize! I’m really hoping we can inspire and motivate each other in our domestic…
The following is a tale…a tale of a Fairy themed birthday party for little fairies and gnomes, in a magical woodland meadow full of fun food, a toadstool cake, and more. You’ll want to read the whole story… Â Once upon a time… a little girl wanted to have a fairy birthday party. So her mother…
Each year at Valentine’s there is the big decision: To buy the Power Rangers and Barbie cards, or to make something a little more creative and personal. I bet you can’t guess which camp I am in! In fact, today’s big project is assembling the Valentines, but I’m not going to show them to you…yet….
Is it Christmas time already? I was drinking Green Slime and saying “trick or treat” just a few hours ago! Admittedly, I was a little appalled when I walked into the home improvement store a few weeks ago, and saw a giant inflatable Grim Reaper right next to the giant inflatable Baby Jesus and Nativity…
It’s another Trading Spaces Tuesday! Did you know that my kids are on Spring Break already? I’m not sure what everyone else’s Spring Break schedule is, but I’m guessing that it will be here before you know it. If you don’t have exotic travel plans, you may be struggling with ideas to keep your kids…

WE'll use this book the last 3 weeks of our summer vacay and throughout the school year with my grade one class. thanks. looks fun.
I just stumbled upon this giveaway by pure accident. This summer I am teaching art summer camp. I have 2 more weeks to go.
The way I structured the camp was to make every week have a different theme. The last week of camp is "Sea Adventures"! I would love this book for project ideas-I was internet surfing for ideas when I bumped into this giveaway!
Also, in 2 weeks I go back to college to get my teaching credential and this book would let me see actual lesson plans from a real art teacher. Wowee…

Ohhh…I would love this! I am doing an ocean-themed (stingray) party for Jake next month and would love to try these crafts/experiments at the party! Fun!
my fingers are just itching to do this with my kiddos! (6,4,2) we have turned off tv and video games, no electronics ('xcept mom's computer time 🙂 mondays-thursdays and i think this would be a great way to spend our time!
very cool!
OOh, this book looks like so much fun! We still have a month before school starts, so I would use it to keep my kids & some of the neighborhood kids amused. Make the last bit of summer fun!!
What a fun craft! I have two little guys with a revolving door of friends, so this would certainly come in handy to fill up our last days of summer 😉
This looks so neat! My son would love to have some new fresh ideas to try out!
this looks wonderful! I would use it with my sweet daughter while it is too hot to go outside! Her grandpa lives in Florida and she loves all things ocean related! 🙂
Thank you!
