Feeling Fall

Yesterday morning, I stepped outside my front door, and for the first time in months, the air felt cool. Not cool, by most of your standards, but refreshing and crisp, and several degrees cooler than the temperature inside the house (82 degrees). If you don’t live in an inferno like Arizona, you may not be able to understand the marvelous feeling that occurs when the weather starts to cool down ever-so-slightly, and hope returns that this will be a pleasant place to hang out for the next few months. It makes me want to spruce up my outdoor spaces, so we can spend more time there, and it actually FEELS appropriate to start blogging about all things fall. (We just try and forget that we are still at or near triple digits during the day).

Btw, I had planned to do a series of posts detailing all of my behind-the-scenes work at the pirate party and all of the things I made (flags, pinata, ship mast, cake, etc.), but I think you may all be pirated out.   2. Hi Kendra; I know what you mean about the temps.. here we are still having very hot and humid days… we are supposed to have some cooler days coming up,, hope so.. I love fall,, Your little pumpkins are too cute,, and the waffles look so good… mmmm When the days are cooler I make Apple pies,,, and plant mums…. and decorate in all the fall colors…
