How About Orange?

Guest post by Kendra’s sister, Trina, who isn’t only insanely creative, but also extremely cheap–that runs in our family, too! 🙂 I feel unqualified to talk about home décor because I don’t do too much of it, and what I do do is more often dictated most by how inexpensively it can be done. So,…
I’m excited to show you Connie’s Office command center for a couple of reasons. I love her bold decorating style. Remember, some of us need great style to motivate organization. I also love the curtain! Move it and everything is instantly visible for us visual types. Close it, and the rest of the world doesn’t…
Bit by bit, I’m finishing up projects for the loft area. This table used to look like this… …except is was red, and colored on and tearing apart. While I have seen lots of beautiful kids’ tables for sale, that’s not in the budget right now. I starting thinking about recovering and/or deco-paging it. What…
I have a couple of gaping holes on either side of my mantle that present some decorating challenges. Anything I put there ends up looking cluttery, unless it is the right scale.  I spent some time looking at ordering some smaller Christmas trees. I thought something like this fancy feather tree from Z Gallery would be…
I get to start thinking about home decor again, since we are in the process of purchasing a new home! This won’t be on the top of my priority list, but I think this is a really fun way to get organized in the craft room. Thanks Erin for the link! Check out the instructions,…
Are you looking for me? You’ll find me trying to be cute today over on the Making the World Cuter blog. I’m guest posting for Tiffany while she is on maternity leave, about my Dick & Jane themed bulletin board makeover and answering some of your questions about the pretty purple board I share with…

Looks like they do still have that Waverly fabric at Joann's. A coupon would put it in buyable range for my extreme frugal taste. 🙂 http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog.jsp?CATID=cat953852&PRODID=prd40779
have you looked at Heather… what's her name? dang it… hold on… Heather Bailey! Have you looked at her site? I have NO idea if she's affordable or not, but her stuff is gorgeous, and I don't even "do" fabrics. Ü http://www.heatherbailey.typepad.com/
That's so funny! My living room is orange and that color of blue. It is an odd combination, but I love it! I also love that picture — those chairs are fabulous!

Orange can be tricky color to match. I would say if your sister as once piece currently than she should use that to go to stores. If ordering online before of the oranges looking totally off!
Ikea has fabric with orange in them!

I am loving that orange fabric!
Have you ever checked out http://www.premierprintsfabric.com? The fabric is made near where I live, and they sell their fabric there at outlet prices. Online, I think it is a little more, but still super cheap because it is upholstery width.
