Pt. II
I love all of you, who like me, go a little crazy about a family costume theme. It is hard to orchestrate, but very impactful when you walk in to the party as a group! If you are still working on coming up with a family theme for this year, maybe one of these great ideas will inspire you:
Scooby Doo! Love it! So colorful and recognizable! The baby is a little ghost, if you can’t tell. Lots more great pictures here!
The Wizard of Oz is another great theme, because it offers so many costume options! Don’t they look great? They shared lots of other couple and family ideas, here.
Don’t want to spoil anything, but I’m feeling very inspired by this Family Circus! Do you have a little strong man at your house?
I’ve seen a few variations on the farm theme. A farmer is an easy adult costume to pull of and makes a great accessories for all of those cute kid animal costumes. Of course, adults can be animals, too! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cow look as nice as Alison does here.
Have you got some video gamers in your family? I love this Mario Bro. family grouping!
And you already know I like Narnia! Love their costumes! Do you have a favorite book or series you could use for inspiration?
Or maybe a childhood toy? Aren’t they so cute as Raggedy Ann and Andy?
This homemade parrot costume is amazing, and goes great with pirate parents!
And if you don’t have something else up your sleeve, you can’t go wrong by going classic Halloween. This grouping of classic monsters is even more frightening in a family group!

The scooby doo family cracks me up! I just wish my boys didn't have minds of their own when it comes to halloween costumes! 🙂
