I wanted to share a couple of tips for present-wrapping that I came up with this weekend when I attended a baby shower for a new baby girl. I hope you will excuse the grainy phone pic–I didn’t start out thinking this would be a blog post.
I bought a couple of baby headbands, with bows on them and thought that they could serve double duty–decorations for the baby’s head and for the present. It turns out that the headband stretched nicely around the top gift (cute wrapping paper is by target). The bottom box is a plain white department store-type box that I was too lazy to wrap. I little washi tape on either end of the box went a long way to dressing up the box, and was super fast to do.
You could do this for a big girl present, too. Hair clips would work nicely. Just wrap ribbon or string around the present and clip the bow(s) to the string. I love when things can be beautiful and functional (and not super time-consuming)!
