So guess what’s up?
My Christmas Tree! This has to be a record for us! I’m normally a not-til-after-Thanksgiving kind of gal, but when I got the opportunity to receive, review and decorate a gorgeous tree from Tree Classics, I got really excited about coming up with a fresh design and decorating the tree differently than I ever have before. The tree I chose to review is this beautiful Classic Noble Fir. I just love the shape of it and that it looks so rich and full.
It is a very beautiful tree! It is substantial and sturdy. The pine needles look very realistic. All it is missing is the pine scent and you could fool everyone! It may very well be the only tree I’ve seen that I think looks just as beautiful with the lights off as with them on.
This is the first time we’ve had a pre-lit tree! It made the set-up so simple and quick. I had thought about adding lights to make it more electrifying, but it really didn’t need it. It has a lovely glow about it.
About 80% of the decorations on the tree were DIYed in some way. I’m going to take a couple of posts to show you the specific projects and give you the details about how you can make your own.
This year has been one of many significant changes for our family. I wanted the tree to celebrate that and to have a bright, modern and optimistic tone reflecting where we are headed in the future. I am in love with metallics, so they are featured abundantly–gold, copper, and a little silver, too. The color scheme of the ornaments is traditional with a twist. Bright red, with a very light pink. Deep green with a paler teal color, as well. Can you tell what my garland is made of?
Come back for the answer and all of the specific ornament details!
When do you trim the tree? I am really enjoying mine up now.
Make sure and visit Tree Classics if you are in the market for a new, beautiful artificial tree that you will love!
Disclosure: I was provided a tree at no cost to decorate and blog about. As always, all opinions, photos, and insanity are mine!
