Thanks a Mint! Teacher Appreciation Printable

We aren’t quite done with school yet. (Are we the only ones still finishing up?) So I am still deciding on what my kids will give to their teachers this week as a final “Thank You for putting up with me all year!” gift.  Here is a simple thank-you gift that could work for teachers or lots of other occasions.

I teach music classes for kids and we recently had our end-of-year recital. I wanted my students who are graduating from the program to have something to give to their parents to say “Thank You” for all of the work and support that the parents contribute to this program. I had lots of extra York Peppermint patties left over from the favors I made for my SNAP! Conference Party Panel Presentation (I still have to show you those!!) so I put those in white lunch sacks with a fun topper I designed.

It says:

Thank You!

Your love and support has

“MINT”

so much to me!

You can use any kind of mint gum or candy, and if you think your child’s teacher can get past the spelling error in the play-on-words, I created a topper just for teachers:

Or the one I made for parents could work as a general thank you for lots of people and occasions:

Did you give an end of the year teacher gift? I’d love to hear what you did? I’ve collected several other good ideas on my Teacher Appreciation Pinterest board.
