Halloween Food Fun & a Guessing Game

I have a daughter whose birthday happens to be the same day as Earth Day! That hasn’t stopped us from throwing all kinds of different themed birthday parties in the past. But last year we decided to embrace the holiday and make it an Earth Day Birthday Bash! Even if you don’t have an Earth…
It must be late, because I can’t come up with a very good play-on-words for the title of this post. These invitations were my other project last year while awaiting Tessa. My sister was in town to help me with childbirth, so the least I could do was make her Halloween party invitations. These were…
I’ve been wanting to share this “comfort-food”-themed Gourmet Group meal with you, since I had the pleasure of eating it, a year ago. Unfortunately, I didn’t get photos right away, and then the season had kind of passed. I’m sharing it with you now, because some of the ideas, might work well on your Thanksgiving…
Normally, I love Easter–the long awaited arrival of Spring, and all things beautiful and soft. This year it is just coming too fast! I haven’t had weeks to scheme up all kinds of Easter decor, gifts or projects. I did have one idea, however, and I figured I had better share it with you before…
Our anniversary hit on a weeknight this year. I still wanted to mark the date, but getting a babysitter and going out, just wasn’t a realistic option, that night. I was reminded of my parents’ anniversary celebrations from when I was growing up. They never had much money and Mom maintained that she preferred her…
Remember these? Well they were included in Bakerella’s latest montage of cupcake pops from around the world. The piggy costume is adorable! I'm guessing you are going with a Toy Story theme this year. Can't wait to see pictures.
Soo cute! I just found your blog today. I am LDS as well. I am having my first giveaway today on my blog…stop on by and take a peek. A set of 12 berry wreath napkin rings in either red or white. They are really quite cute.
I love all your Halloween food. We just did a big open house for our ward and we did some of the things you show.

I love "Hamm", we are going for a toy story theme around here, my oldest is Buzz and the youngest is Woody, unfortunately the buck stops there, as my oldest want Dad to be the 2nd Buzz from Toy Story 2 and there was No way he was going for that…I was to be "Bo" or Jessie, he hadn't decided, oh well there is always next year.
Well, now I can see the Toy Story info. I was hoping for "If You Give a Pig a Pancake" or "Olivia". Though given that Hubby and I went to see Toy Story 1 & 2 in 3D with absolutly no children involved I think I can give a big cheer for the theme.
I didn't read the comments by my guess is Toy Story. Can't wait to see it.
