Getting Old Gifts

Many of you were excited about doing some thing like the “30 sucks” gift I sent to my sister and posted about last week.  Blogging friend, Susan from Poca Cosas, left me a comment and it reminded me that I had seen lots of growing old gifts on her blog.  I guess she and most of her friends turn 40 this year, so she really got creative about this milestone birthday.  Here are some of her ideas!  Click on the pictures to go to her post about each gift:
Way cute!  And something besides candy!  (Ever notice how most of these gifts involve almost-swear-words?  :-))
I’m not sure which word is less appropriate (“sucks” or “blows”), but I can’t help but love a jar filled with colorful gumballs!

Here’s Susan’s version of the suckers!  She did a bouquet, which works great if you are taking it in person.

And for the optimist, how about…”40 rocks!”  You could also do this with rock candy, decorative rocks, fake jewels…you get the idea.
Thanks Susan, for the great ideas!
