While we were visiting my in-laws, I couldn’t resist snipping some branches off of a blossoming tree in their front yard to make a centerpiece for our Sunday dinner. If you are fortunate enough to live in an area where things are in bloom, it’s easy and cheap to bring the outdoors in for a little Springtime atmosphere. These branches were a little messy, so be prepared to clean up some loose blossoms. I think they look great displayed in a simple modern vase, like this rectangular one you can find at IKEA for just a couple of dollars.

So pretty! I was just thinking about that yesterday. I have a bush that is starting to bloom in my backyard. And a tree in a field across the street with beautiful pale pink flowers. Although now that it is snowing, I hope the flowers don’t all shrivel up!
Your centerpiece is stunning!

Oh, how pretty that looks! We are not in the blooming stage yet. It takes until close to July for that to happen ’round these parts.
I love using cuttings from the yard-
perfect, thanks for sharing your bouquet-

Be sure and Stop by my blog for a visit. Though I am relativity new to blogging, I am loving all my new friends. I am giving away my first EVER BLOG PRIZE.
I own a gift basket business and it is the most requested gift over the last 15 years. From the comments I have already received, appears to be something a little different and something anyone could use. I have been so touched by the comments that I have decided to give 2 boxes . They will be the $100 deluxe size.
I really do want to bless people!!!
I want my blog to encourage others. I have decided that giving is life at its BEST. The drawing will be Saturday!
