Our favorite post for 2011 is….
But, WAIT!
Those are just MY top posts. The very top post of the year wasn’t written by me. It wasn’t even written by a blogger, and not only is it the top post of 2011, but it is my top post…EVER!
From Entertainment Unit to Toy Kitchen,
written by…MY DAD!
I’m not sure whether to be really grateful to him for bringing me all of this traffic, or really chagrined that my Dad schools me at blogging with one post! Probably a little bit of both. Maybe I should just hire him to do it more often! Seriously, though, my parents did an amazing job on this toy kitchen! You’ll want to check it out, if you haven’t seen it already!
Here are a few more Honorable Mentions, in case you haven’t had your fill of insanity, yet:
S’more Classroom Fun (Birthday Treats)
And if you are still with me, I just wanted to make sure you knew this isn’t my first year in review. Here’s the best of the best from the last 3 years if you want to delve into the archives!
Thanks for sharing the insanity all this time! Happy New Year!
{I’m linking up to the following year end parties! You should, too!}
LOVE your party ideas! So fun and creative. The Rapunzel cake is amazing.
Thanks, Jennifer!
So many ADORABLE ideas! I just showed my girls your Tangled cake and they’re freakin’ out! Fab job!! Stumbled you!! 🙂
Thanks so much, Kim! Does this mean you have a Rapunzel birthday party in your future?
I’m visiting from Tatertots & Jello’s link party. Wow! That Captain America cake is amazing. Oh, and I love the kitchen you made from an entertainment unit. Very crafty.
Thank you, Danielle! The Captain America cake actually wasn’t terribly difficult (surprising for me!), and to give credit where credit is due, my parents are the ones that actually made the kitchen. I just loved it so much, I asked if they would share it with my readers. I’m sure glad I did–it is my most popular post, EVER!
Wow Kendra – you are crazy talented!!! I love all the posts – especially your parties, they are just gorgeous!! So is the awesome kitchen from your dad – guess talent runs in the family! 🙂
You are so sweet, Beverly! And yes, something runs in the family–still trying to determine if it is talent, insanity, or both! 🙂
I had NO idea you were so good at parties – I’ve only seen your craft posts. WOW! Love that Captain America cake big time. 😀
Thanks, Amy! Parties are kind of my big thing. I usually craft because of parties, holidays, or something I’m doing for a grand home decor scheme. I appreciate you stopping by!
Visiting from tt&j! Love your top links! The camping birthday is super cute. And that is awesome your number one post was by your dad 🙂 Kinda sweet actually!
I would love for you to share this (and any of your other favorite posts from 2011) at my Friday link party if you get a chance 🙂
Thanks, Kelley! I should totally get my dad to post more often, shouldn’t I? 🙂

You definitely had some great posts this year! It was your Primary ice cream party that first made you stand out to me….then I was so grateful to meet you in person at Creative Estates! Thanks for having such a fun blog and for being such a great friend! Here’s to another wonderful Insanely Creative year! 🙂
Thank you, Cindy! Thanks so much for all your kind comments and support! We’ll have to find another creative reason to get together some time!
